No waiting period applies if policyholder was previously covered for the same risk (either with CAP or another insurer) and if he/she changes insurance without interruption. No waiting period applies to claims for damages, criminal proceedings and disputes with insurance companies.

For cases in which procedural law prescribes an external lawyer, the policyholder may suggest a lawyer. If CAP does not approve of this lawyer, the policyholder may suggest three other legal representatives from different law firms, among which CAP must choose one.
Procedures in case of futility or differences in opinion
The policyholder and CAP appoint an arbitrator together. The concordat's provisions regarding arbitral jurisdiction apply.
