Comparis-approved estate agents will complete these 5 steps for you
The task of selling a property should not be underestimated – so it is a good idea to get professional advice. Thanks to many years of experience, the estate agents recommended by Comparis know what it takes to sell a home and how best to advise and support you.
The estate agent is involved right from the start and guides you through the selling process. With extensive market and industry expertise, the agent can provide comprehensive advice on your sale and help you develop a sales strategy.
The recommended estate agent carries out an in-person appraisal of your property to produce a reliable valuation. If you are interested in an initial, non-binding estimate, you can use the Comparis property valuation tool to get a rough idea of your home’s value.
The estate agent produces professional marketing material and photos of your property – using drone photography where appropriate. Your property is then marketed on suitable platforms to the appropriate target groups. If necessary, the agent will help with those time-consuming viewings or with staging your home. Agents can also handle any communication with potential buyers on your behalf.
The agent supports and advises you with respect to negotiating the sale. The agent qualifies potential buyers, checks their credit reports and presents you with serious offers. You are kept informed of all ongoing activities and are supported in your decision. Once you have reached an agreement with a buyer, the agent draws up a sales contract and schedules an appointment at the notary's office. The agent is present when the contract is notarized.
The estate agent organizes the handover of keys. The agent can either be present at the handover or can give the keys to the new owner on your behalf. Of course, the estate agent remains at your disposal after completion to answer any questions.
