How it works: our application process
We receive your application. Great! We then check all the documents as quickly as possible. But remember: the process is not set in stone. We are happy to skip particular steps if it makes sense to do so.
If your application looks good, we want to get to know you a bit better! It’s important that you don’t just match the job description, but that you fit in with the team too. The aim of our first meeting with you is to find this out. It can take place by telephone or video call.
Still in the running? Now’s the time for us to get to know you in person – either online or at our offices. In this interview, you will learn more about us, the position and the challenges faced by our team. The interview will be held with a line manager or team member from the department in question, plus a member of our People team.
You made it to the next round! The format of the second interview will depend on the position. You normally meet your future team and are given the opportunity to show us what you can do on the basis of a case study. Don't worry, you will have enough time to prepare and we will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
That’s it! The interviews are all done. Now all those involved at Comparis will discuss your application and we will decide whether to make you an offer. At this point, we often ask for a reference, but we will discuss that with you.
Got the job? Welcome on board! We will call you to offer you the position and confirm it in writing. If you decide to accept, we’ll send the contracts for you to sign and return to us. And that’s the end of the application process. The next step is to get everything ready for onboarding. We look forward to working with you!

Absolutely! We are looking for talented people who want to help us make a difference and whose general qualities make them a good fit. If you don't fulfil one of the requirements, we’d be pleased to hear about what else you have to offer.
Yes. We check every application against all open positions anyway. So we may approach you about a different role if we feel you would be better suited for it.
The process varies according to the role and of course depends on when the position becomes available. However, once we have received your application, you can expect it to take around 4-6 weeks. Sometimes we can complete the process in just a few days.
Of course. We know that companies often require you to give three or even six months’ notice. We are prepared for this. What counts is you!
