This year, comparis.ch has once again surveyed the Swiss population to assess its level of satisfaction with Swiss health insurance companies. In June 2020, market research institute Intervista canvassed the opinions of over 2'200 people from all four language regions.
In addition to their overall satisfaction, the respondents rated the following quality criteria: Competence and commitment of employees, Satisfaction with billing (clarity, speed and goodwill with regard to payments etc.), Clarity and comprehensibility of customer information.

Rating scale: 5.5-6 = very good, 5-5.4 = good, 4.5-4.9 = satisfactory, 4-4.4 = adequate, below 4 = poor
All answers from one respondent about a provider are taken to calculate the total rating from the same respondent. A provider's final rating corresponds to the rounded mean value of all these total ratings. The final ratings as given by comparis.ch are based on the Swiss school grading system.
