Touring Club Schweiz (TCS) car insurance

Liability insurance
Insurance against liability claims of up to CHF 100 million resulting from the provisions of the road traffic laws. In addition, there is subsidiary liability cover for vehicles rented by the policyholder.

Casco insurance
In the event of a write-off, the amount reimbursed corresponds to the current value of the vehicle. The repair of insured damages is carried out by one of the insurer's partner companies and the insurance provides additional services, such as the provision of a replacement car, pick-up and delivery service, internal and external vehicle cleaning and a guarantee of a technically flawless repair. If the repair is not carried out by a partner company, the coinsurance increases by CHF 500.

Partial casco
Includes damage due to theft, fire, natural hazards, glass breakage, collision with animals, martens including consequential damage, malicious damage (including painting the bodywork) and assistance for accident victims.

Collision casco
Covers damages due to collisions and scratching on paintwork.

Additional cover

• Parking damage in combination with collision casco: can be included up to the 10th year of operation of the vehicle, sum unlimited, for a maximum of two damages per year.

• Parking damage in combination with partial casco: can be included up to the 10th year of operation of the vehicle, up to CHF 2000, for a maximum of two damages per year.

• Personal belongings up to CHF 2000.

Breakdowns, towing and organisation of return transport are not included in this insurance product. If in Switzerland, such benefits can be claimed as part of TCS membership. In addition, assistance abroad can be arranged with Touring Club Suisse.
