2. Amazon Prime Video: Costs in Switzerland
Prime Video is available in a subscription model for 9.99 francs per month. With the subscription, you can watch films and series on up to three devices at the same time. However, you are not allowed to watch the same content on more than two devices at the same time.
Since 2024, the standard subscription is no longer ad-free. If you do not want to see any advertising you must pay an additional monthly fee. This is 2.99 francs. The cost of an ad-free experience is therefore 13 francs per month.

3. What is the Amazon Prime Video offer in Switzerland?
Amazon produces original series and films – but also has other productions on offer. With the Prime Video subscription in Switzerland, you can watch almost 1,500 series and over 5,700 films. However, the available content varies depending on the country and region. Compared to other global streaming services, Amazon Prime Video often leads in the number of available Swiss film productions.
In German-speaking Switzerland, you can usually access the content in German and in Original language . Other languages are also available in some cases. There are usually German subtitles as well. Depending on the device, you can also call up image descriptions for the deaf.
