Damage to motorbike due to the following forces of nature fall into this category:

  • storm winds (velocity at least 75 km/h),

  • avalanches,

  • hail,

  • landslide,

  • falling rocks,

  • flooding,

  • and snow masses.

Some insurance companies also cover costs due to crashing aeroplanes, rockets and spacecraft, or their parts.

Each motorbike insurance company will divide types of damage due to natural forces into separate components.

Tip: The probability of your motorbike being crushed by an avalanche or washed away by a mountain stream is quite small. However, should such an accident actually occur, there can be a great amount of damage to your motorbike. For this reason, it might be worth taking out partial casco insurance.
