Expiry age

The expiry age is the age of the insured person at which the insurance policy expires. It is also often called maturity age.
For whole life insurance products of the restricted pension plan (3a), the expiry age usually is 64 for women and 65 for men. This corresponds to the current AHV retirement age. For whole life insurance products of the unrestricted pension plan (3b), the expiry age usually lies between 75 and 80.
