Basic care includes help when showering, bathing and washing, with compression stockings, dressing and undressing, eating and drinking, going to the toilet, getting up, lying down and walking or dental care. Basic care is, in addition to needs assessment, advice and coordination and examination and treatment, one of three care services that are covered by basic health insurance.
