Day-to-day help and support is a Spitex service designed to preserve and/or promote the client’s lifestyle at home, their independence, their health and therefore their quality of life. Typical support services include accompanying the client on walks, to doctor's appointments or on outings, providing domestic help, and providing night duty or on-call services. These costs are not covered by basic insurance but may be reimbursed via supplemental insurance, if available.
