my apt will be available for lease takeover mid August 2026. It's a great 2.5-room apartment in Belchenstrasse 4054. It's a residential and quiet area very close to Schützenmattpark (2 min walking) and the city center. Monthly lease including fees is 1340 CHF (rent 1150 CHF, fees 180 CHF ). As rental security deposit (mietzinsdepot) the agency only ask for 2-month rent (CHF 2680) in a bank account.
The apartment is on the 4th floor (lift available), which is also the top floor, and includes:

Entrance space with big closet (it belongs to the property)
1 large living room with big windows and balcony (very bright)
1 separated kitchen (fridge/freezer/ceramic stove but no dishwasher)
1 bedroom with window
1 bathroom with bathtub and window

The building is very nice, and include a nice laundry room with new washing machine and dryer. The rental agency owns the building and they are super nice and speak many languages. My neighbors are all great and helpful and it is very silent during days and nights if you want to work from home. All amenities are close by. Basel Sbb train station is only 5 min by tram/bus 50, Trams 1/8/6/3 at 4 min. Different supermarkets, pharmacies, post offices and banks are all close by, and the beautiful Schützenmattpark ( 2 min walking).
