The apartment is located in a small apartment building (5 units total, no elevator) in a desirable, central residential area of Basel, at St. Jakobs-Strasse 157, directly across from the new Grosspeter Tower.
Nearby are the highway access, the SBB train station, schools, shopping, and tram and bus stops (public transportation).
The building was extensively renovated in 2016 and features a high, modernized standard. A characteristic feature of such ?Baumgartner-style? apartments is that they typically feature very attractive, unique floor plans (with spacious, light-filled rooms and high ceilings, approx. 2.70 m ceiling height) as well as parquet flooring (herringbone pattern), which is rare today.
The apartment is located on the 1st floor and features 3 bedrooms, a separate kitchen with an adjoining sunroom, a bathroom (with a bathtub, no shower), and a balcony accessible from one of the bedrooms and the sunroom.
