Built in 1721 by Charles Lullin de Châteauvieux, a member of a prominent Genevan patrician family, Château de Choully embodies the elegance and refinement of XVIII? century aristocratic architecture. Remarkably preserved, the residence retains its majestic enfilade of five reception rooms, sublimated by delicate woodwork attributed to ornemanist Jean Jaquet. The south-facing main salon offers a spectacular view of Mont Salève, while the historic gardens reveal magnificent vistas all the way to Mont Blanc. The famous Salon Joséphine recalls the visit of Empress Joséphine in 1812, who stayed here during a reception given in her honor.
