In unserer WG in Bethlehem werden ab Juni (Einzugstermin flexibel - spätestens August) zwei unbefristete WG-Zimmer frei (ca. CHF 600 - CHF 800). Unser Zuhause liegt in einem Wohnblock in Bethlehem, 15 Minuten mit dem Velo oder Bus vom Bahnhof Bern entfernt und direkt am Waldrand.

Hier bewohnen wir gemeinsam drei helle Wohnungen auf dem 17. und 18. Stock mit Balkon und dystopisch-schöner Aussicht über Bern-West. Die Wohnungen sind nach Bedürfnissen aufgeteilt. Als Kontrast zu den hellen, grossen Wohnungen haben wir noch einen eher dunkleren Bandraum im Keller des Blocks mit Soundanlage, vielen Instrumenten usw. Die Zimmer sind sonnig, ruhig, frisch renoviert und unterschiedlich gross. Es gibt Möglichkeiten nach Zimmertausch.

Unsere Wohngemeinschaft ist ein Verein, mit dem wir alle 3 Wohnungen anmieten. So gibt es keine Hauptmieter*innen. Die Wohnräume und Lebensmittel teilen und organisieren wir gemeinsam. Wir essen mehrmals die Woche miteinander, gehen zusammen an Veranstaltungen, haben zusammen Projekte und manchmal machen wir auch einfach zusammen nichts. Wir haben einen solidarischen Anspruch aufs Zusammenleben (beispielsweise mit Mieten die abhängig von Lohn, Lebensrealität, Zimmergrösse etc sind). Einmal pro Monat haben wir WG Sitzung mit immer jeweils gemeinsamem Brunch vorweg.

Wir sind 12 Erwachsene, 1 Kind und 2 Hunde (welche in einer Wohnung sind) welche zwischen 6 bis 42 Jahre alt sind. Wir sind schäflischärende, teils auf Alp wohnende, als Sozialarbeiter*innen tätige, sich grad frisch selbständig machende, in Nachtclubs tätige und daher selten Tageslicht sehende, strombegeisterte, im Kunstprekariat existierende, doktorierende, in Kollektiven sich beteiligende, in Gastro arbeitende, englisch, deutsch & spanisch sprechende Menschen die Freude hätten, dich kennenzulernen.

Room available in a shared apartment in Betlehem long-term lease starting in June / July / August

Two long-term shared rooms will be available in our shared apartment in Bethlehem starting in June (move-in date flexibleno later than August) (approx. CHF 600CHF 800). Our home is located in an apartment building in Bethlehem, a 15-minute bike or bus ride from the Bern train station and right on the edge of the forest.

Here, we share three bright apartments on the 17th and 18th floorseach with a balcony and a dystopically beautiful view of western Bern. The apartments are divided according to our needs & a musicroom. The rooms are sunny, quiet, newly renovated, and vary in size. There are opportunities to swap rooms.

Our shared living community is a nonprofit organization through which we all rent the three apartments. This means there are no primary tenants. We share and organize the living spaces and groceries together. We eat together several times a week, go to events together, work on projects together, and sometimes we just hang out and do nothing.
We believe in living together in solidarity (for example, with rent that is based on income, living circumstances, room size, etc.). Once a month, we hold a housemate meeting, which always starts with a group brunch. There are 12 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs (who are staying in an apartment), ranging in age from 6 to 42.

We are sheep farmers, some of us living in the Alps; social workers; people just starting out on our own; nightclub workers who rarely see daylight; electricity enthusiasts; artists struggling to make ends meet; doctoral students; members of collectives; restaurant workers; and people who speak English, German, and Spanishand wed love to meet you.
