3.5 Rooms, 13 m²

I’m looking for a roommate for my two-person shared flat in District 11. Starting in February, a 13 m^2 room will become available (open-ended lease) in our 3.5-room apartment on the 2nd floor.

About the apartment:
You’ll be sharing the apartment with Merlin and me. It includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom, two balconies, an attic, and a private basement storage unit. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use in the building.
The apartment is fully equipped, except for Wi-Fi. Your room is unfurnished, but it has a large built-in wardrobe and overlooks a large inner courtyard garden. The window front can be opened completely – perfect for summer.

The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from Schwamendingerplatz, where you’ll find shops like Coop, Migros, and Denner, as well as a pharmacy and the post office. There’s also a tram stop with connections to tram lines 7 and 9 and bus lines 62 and 75.

• ETH Zentrum / Unispital: 25 min
• ETH Hönggerberg: 20–30 min
• Zürich HB: 20–30 min
• Oerlikon: 10–15 min

Costs:
• Rent: CHF 1’000.– per month (including utilities; exception: if water/electricity/heating usage is unusually high, the additional costs will be shared)

About me:
I’m Enie (25), a student at UZH, and I’m vegetarian, occasionally pescetarian. I share my home with my 17-year-old cat, Merlin. When I’m not studying, I read a lot, do pottery and crochet, and occasionally practice arthropod taxidermy. I also enjoy going for walks and ice bathing in winter. I listen to a lot of music, collect vinyl records, and never miss a flea market. At the moment, I’m teaching myself the ukulele and bass guitar, and I’d also like to learn the harmonica and knitting. You could say that learning new skills is my hobby.

About Merlin:
Merlin (17) is extremely cuddly and doesn't get the concept of personal space (sitting down = cat on your lap, even if he’s known you for only a minute). He loves commenting on everyday life (you can easily have full conversations with him), and despite his age he still needs playtime and has daily zoomies.

About you:
You’re fond of animals, reliable, respectful and between 20 and 30 years old. A stepparent for Merlin (no financial responsibility, just feeding and quality time). You shouldn’t be afraid of arthropods as Merlin may get new siblings with at least six legs.

Ich suche Mitbewohner:in für meine zweier-WG in Kreis 11. Ab Februar wird in unserer 3,5-Zimmerwohnung im 2. Stock ein 13 m^2 grosses Zimmer frei (unbefristet).

Zur Wohnung:
Du teilst die Wohnung mit Merlin und mir, dazu gehören Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad, zwei Balkone, Dachboden und ein Kellerabteil. Waschmaschine und Tumbler gibt es im Haus zur Mitbenutzung.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, ausser WLAN. Dein Zimmer ist unmöbliert, hat aber einen grossen Einbauschrank und blickt auf einen grossen Innenhofgarten. Die Fensterfront lässt sich komplett öffnen – perfekt für den Sommer.

Die Wohnung liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Schwamendingerplatz entfernt. Dort gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Coop, Migros und Denner, eine Apotheke und die Post. Ausserdem befindet sich dort eine Tramhaltestelle mit Anschluss an Tram 7 und 9 sowie die Buslinien 62 und 75.

Zu mir:
Ich bin Enie (25), studiere an der UZH und ernähre mich vegetarisch/pescetarisch. Ich teile meine Wohnung mit meinem 17-jährigen Kater Merlin.
Wenn ich gerade nicht für die Uni lerne und Zeit für mich habe, lese ich viel, gehe töpfern, häkle und präpariere ab und zu Arthropoda. Ausserdem gehe ich gern spazieren, im Winter auch Eisbaden. Ich höre viel Musik, sammle Schallplatten und bin bei Flohmarktbesuchen immer dabei. Gerade versuche ich mir selbst Ukulele und Bass beizubringen, zusätzlich möchte ich noch Mundharmonika spielen und stricken lernen. Man könnte sagen, mir neue Skills anzueignen ist mein Hobby.

Zu Merlin:
Merlin (17) ist extrem verschmust und hält nichts von Personal Space (Hinsetzen = Katze auf dem Schoss, auch bei Leuten, die er erst seit einer Minute kennt). Er kommentiert gern den Alltag (man kann problemlos ganze Gespräche mit ihm führen) und trotz seines Alters braucht er Spielzeit und hat täglich seine Zoomies.

Zu dir:
Du bist tierlieb, zuverlässig, respektvoll und zwischen 20 und 30 Jahre alt. Stiefelternteil für Merlin (ohne finanzielle Verantwortung, nur Füttern und Quality Time). Du solltest keine Angst vor Arthropoda haben, es könnte sein, dass Merlin neue Geschwister mit mindestens sechs Beinen bekommt.
