Cancelling contents and personal liability insurance

The periods of notice for personal liability and home contents insurance are set out in the General Conditions of Insurance of each insurance company.

The insurance policy is cancelled either by one party giving notice or due to reasons provided for by law and in the policy.

If the notice of cancellation is not received by the insurance company in time, the contract is renewed by one year by tacit agreement. In time means no later than 3 months before the expiry of the agreed policy period.
