With the new photo search for the iPhone and Google mobile phone, you simply take a picture of:
- CDs
- DVDs, Blu-Rays
- Games and books
Within a few seconds, you will receive a Price Comparison with the cheapest offers from providers such as ExLibris, DVD-shop.ch, Soundmedia.ch, etc. With the new application for the mobile phone, typing becomes unnecessary. Consumer electronics and IT continue to be found via text search.
Owners of an Android mobile phone and an iPhone 3GS can alternatively also take a picture of the bar code of books, CDs, DVDs and games. Owners of an iPhone 3G/iPod Touch can directly enter the bar code via the keypad in order to compare prices.
Comparing is worthwhile: when it comes to CDs and DVDs, you can save between CHF 10 and 15 – with games even up to CHF 50.
