The apartment is very new, it was opened to tenants in February 2024. The pictures are from before I moved in (e.g. the kitchen still has protective foil on).

The rooms are very generous in size, especially the living room - the living room specifically feels almost like 3 rooms due to how it is cut (check out the floorplan for details). The balcony is also very big, and there is cellar space available. The windows are towards south, so there is plenty of daylight coming in. Sound isolation is excellent - there are zero sounds from the other apartments in the same building. The only thing that is very faintly audible is the S-Bahn, but it doesn't run at night.

The entire apartment is accessible - there is an elevator to get to the apartment, and the shower is a walk-in shower.

Equipment wise, the kitchen has an induction stove, an oven with steamer functionality, and a dishwasher. The reduit contains a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is also a room in the cellar to hang clothes for those that prefer that, the balcony also has more than enough space to hang clothes there.

There is an underground parking garage in which you can rent a parking spot, as well as free visitor parking right outside the building. There are bike racks outside the building, as well as 2 bike rooms (one on ground level, one in the underground parking garage).

The general area is quiet, since it's mostly residential, but due to having a lot of apartment complexes around, there are always people walking around, no matter what time of day or night. There are multiple supermarkets within walking distance (Denner a 3-5 min walk, Lidl within 5-7 min walk, Migros within 10-15 min walk). Wiedikon is a 15 min walk away, containing multiple restaurants. The nearest S-Bahn station is Binz, a 3-5 min walk away, which services the S10. The time to Zuerich HB is roughly 10-15 min door to door by S-Bahn. Walking distance to Zuerich HB is 30-45 min.

Bigger pets like cats and dogs require the landlord's permission, but there are multiple apartments in this building which house such pets, so getting that permission should not be an issue.
