A pochi passi a nord della stazione, il Cantone ha avviato la progettazione della nuova sede del Centro Professionale Tecnico del settore Tessile (CPT), che comprenderà la Scuola d'Arti e Mestieri (SAM) di sartoria e la Scuola Specializzata Superiore (SSS) di abbigliamento e design della moda. I lavori sono in corso e la conclusione è prevista per il 2028.
