1 Room, 28 m², 5. floor 

We are looking for one flatmate interested in a temporary room for subrent in Oerlikon, 8050 Zurich, for 6 months starting on 1st of May until 31st of October.

We are 8 people in total, guys and girls around 30-37. Our apartment is part of the cooperative mehr als wohnen, which is a visionary project that aims for a non-profit high community life quality :-). It has many nice projects for and run by the residents, such as yoga, salsa, gym, concerts, sauna, wood cutting and bike repairing workshop, etc. So if you wish, you can participate in any project or organise new projects.

**Room:**
The partly furnished room (5, red in the map) consists of an entree (4 m2), the room itself (20 m2), private bathroom (4 m2) and small private balcony (1 m2). The room is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, commode and wall bars (see pictures).

Outside of your private space you can enjoy our huge common space of 171 m2, which includes a huge kitchen, living room, large balcony, a shared office space and even a guest room for visitors.

**Costs:**
The room costs in total 1275 CHF, which includes electricity, Internet, TV-Radio (Serafe), a cleaning service for the common spaces and also a contribution to the Mobiliarfond, which is a budget we use to buy new furniture, tools or repair / maintain them. If you are interested, for a little extra cost you can arrange to have your room cleaned by the cleaning service person as well.

**About us:**
We are 7 people (guys and girls) around 30 years, some a bit older or younger, but all friendly positive souls ??. We are quite an international group (Canadian, German, Italian, Mexican, Swiss) that mainly speaks English or German, depending on who is around. We work in different fields, from engineering (mechanical and water), science (soil, physics, materials and biology) to international development. We share meals with whoever is around, and sometimes we also organise events and invite friends or neighbours. Every week, we receive local organic veggies which all can use. We like to keep the apartment nice, joyful and harmonic, so for that we share some activities like cleaning, recycling, etc. And also, we have regular meetings to share anything relevant, plan anything or make decisions.

**About you:**
You are a respectful person and enjoy living in a community project. Ideally you already have experience with such and capacity to contribute to it. Unfortunately, we are not open for two persons applying together.
