Swisscom also offers TV. What are the pros and cons compared to other cable TV providers?

UPC Cablecom covers about half of all Swiss households. In addition to UPC Cablecom, more than 300 regional cable network providers offer similar services. They are not taken into consideration in the comparis.ch comparison.

How to terminate?

If you no longer wish to receive your TV channels through your current provider, you have to terminate the connection. It is possible to use several offers at the same time.

	Offer		Termination procedure

	UPC Cablecom analogue (cable connection)		In many cases the landlord is the contractual partner of the cable customer. If this is the case, the tenant has to terminate the cable connection directly with the landlord. If the contract is between the customer and the cable provider, then the customer has to terminate with the cable provider. As soon as this is the case, the cable connection is no longer charged. Regulations may differ - the tenancy agreement or the contract between customer and provider is decisive.

	UPC Cablecom digital tv		Unlike the cable connection, Digital TV by UPC Cablecom always has to be terminated with UPC Cablecom. The termination period is 2 months.

	Swisscom-TV		Termination is possible earliest 12 months after contract conclusion. The termination period is 1 month.

	Teleclub		Termination is possible earliest 12 months after contract conclusion. The termination period is 3 months.

	Satellite		No termination necessary, as there is no contract for the reception of free TV channels.
