in connection with the purchase, sale or pledging of real estate and also construction, renovation or demolition (if this is subject to official authorization)
regarding the law on foreign nationals
regarding canon law
regarding company, associations and foundations law
arising from gambling or betting
as party involved in brawls and fights
in connection with war, unrest or strike
against the provider of legal protection insurance
in connection with nuclear fission or fusion, or non-ionizing radiation

Contract duration is as stated in the insurance policy. In most cases, the shortest possible duration is one year.
Some areas are liable to a qualifying period. This may vary depending on the provider.
Insurance for legal protection will usually not grant policyholders a free choice of legal representation. If it is necessary to consult a lawyer other than their own in case of pending hearings, the insurance provider will determine a representative as he sees fit.
Notice of termination depends on each provider.
No provider would give up his right to termination after legal proceedings.
