2.Tour 2: Crossing the Jura
3.Tour 3: Around Lake Zurich
4.Tour 4: The Entlebuch tour

Tour 1: The trans-Alpine tour from South to North

Benjamin Hanimann likes to go straight through the Alps from Ticino to the German Allgäu, as he reveals on Twitter.

The most beautiful motorbike ride goes from Lake Maggiore to Lake Forgen at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle #ILoveTöff

The 400 km tour leads over the San Bernardino pass, through the Engadine and Graubünden and finally through the Austrian Tyrol to the German Allgäu, close to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. His navigation tip? Just avoid the motorways and you'll be fine.

Tour 2: Crossing the Jura

Michael S. Vökt also reveals his insider tip on Twitter:

@Comparis - my favorite tours are insider tips, but I'll tell you: Zwingen-Passwang-Shelten-Delémont-Biel #ILoveTöff

You can track the nearly 100 km-long route on Google Maps:

Tour 3: Around Lake Zurich

Susanne Mächler posted her tip on Facebook:

And here's the map for her easy 75-kilometre after-work tour. Be careful, though: during the week the evening traffic is the last place you want to be.

Tour 4: The Entlebuch tour

This round trip circling the Glaubenberg and passing through the Entlebuch UNESCO heritage site starts and ends in Sarnen. It is just under 84 kilometres long.

In a place like Switzerland there are certainly plenty of other beautiful routes. Like these motorcycle tours through the heart of Switzerland. Tell us about your favourites!
