This is a trike with asymmetric construction, i.e. a two-wheeler with a sidecar. Normally, the sidecar is fixed onto the right-hand side in the case of right-hand traffic, and onto the left-hand side in left-hand traffic, which enables the driver to have a better view when it comes to overtaking manoeuvres. A motorbike with a sidecar is also called a combination, an outfit, a rig or a hack.
