Optional Purchase

Leasing contracts do not automatically allot optional purchase after contract expiry. After contracts expire, the vehicle must return to its leaser. However, it is usually possible to buy the vehicle off the leaser after contract expiry, but this is by no means a component of the leasing contract. A new contract for purchase must be concluded by the leaser and lease holder, who must agree upon a readjusted price.
