An increasing number of consumers complain about calls from people who want to sell insurances, newspaper subscriptions, promotion trips, wine and many more.
As of 1 April 2012, the advertising blocker (asterisk entry) in the telephone directory will protect against such calls according to the law against unfair competition (UWG, Art. 3u).

  • If you don't want any marketing calls, you can request an * entry in the telephone directory.
  • If you don't feel disturbed by marketing calls, you don't need an asterisk entry in the telephone directory.
