If your medical costs rise to CHF 7,300, your savings in premium are still as high or higher than the additional costs in case of illness.
  • "The cautious": If you are correct in your assumption of medical costs, an additional risk of CHF 1 through a higher deductible rate means a discount of at least CHF 1 in premiums. If your medical costs rise to over CHF 9,500, your savings in premium are still as high or higher than the additional costs in case of illness.
