The specified interest rates are compared with offers available at the same time in the Mortgage Market.

Top offer
The top offer is the best offer with the corresponding mortgage term that was available from the Mortgage Market on comparis.ch at the time of the mortgage completion.

Average offer
The cheapest offers for the corresponding mortgage term are displayed here for each request. For the calculations, the mean of all offers that were available from the Mortgage Market on comparis.ch at the time of the mortgage completion is used.

Savings potential
The savings potential is calculated by subtracting your mortgage's interest rate from the top offer's interest rate.

Example:
You took out a 5 year fixed mortgage on 10 February, 2004, for the amount of 500'000 CHF, at an interest rate of 3.550%. At the same time, a top offer of 3.050% was available from the Mortgage Market with the same term. Therefore, your savings potential is:

(3.550%-3.050%) x 500'000 x 5 = 12'500 CHF
