Libor Mortgage

The interest rate of a Libor mortgage varies according to the Euro on the money market (London Interbank Offered Rate). The calculation of interest in this model is completely transparent and conforms to market conditions. On the other hand, it is subject to large variations. The borrower can protect himself against increases in interest rates through a ceiling (cap), but pays a supplementary premium for this.
