"Fire" is one of the four risks which are included in the household insurance. Damages to household effects due to house fire, smoke, lightning, explosion, implosion (e.g. television tube) or singeing (e.g. hole in carpet due to burning cigarette) are covered.
Damage cause can either be a fire without apparent source as well as friendly fire.
