When people move to Switzerland, they often don’t know how high the appropriate salary is for a certain profession. Compared to other European countries, Switzerland has a very high wage level. But beware: according to the salaries, also the costs of living are clearly higher. Therefore, you should – as an immigrant – not be blinded by supposedly high salaries. The Salarium is in German and sadly difficult for the immigrants to use. Would be great if Comparis could have a link to the Salarium with English version.

Unfortunately the website doesn't offer this in English. There are several websites online which offer this. Otherwise I would write an E-Mail to the Bundesamt für Migration for more advice.
