When Comparis CEO Richard Isler wanted to buy a new TV in a discounter for consumer electronics in May 2006, he asked himself if the prices really are as cheap as always advertised. The idea for the product comparison was born.
A project team of twelve people - software developers, communication and marketing specialists as well as experts on consumer electronics - developed a completely new application for the Comparis website and for the mobile phone within only eight weeks.
The timely launch of the product comparison in the summer of 2006 received much attention from the media. Thanks to the product comparison, consumers can find the best-priced offer on the market - from home and on the go.
