CO2 emissions

CO₂ emissions of cars are measured in gram per kilometre. The values vary strongly depending on the type of car. Small compact cars usually show lower values than vehicles of the luxury and medium class. The average CO₂ emission of a vehicle type available in Switzerland was approx. 204 g/km in the year 2005.
