Consumer credit is a type of credit which must fulfill the following criteria as regulated by law:
- Must be for private use only (not for professional or corporate purposes)
- Credit range between CHF 500.- and CHF 80,000.-
- Duration longer than 3 months or
- longer than 12 months and more than 4 installments
- Securities such as direct or indirect deposits or common securities like property assets are not required
