The daily benefit is part of accident insurance. In the accident insurance/passenger insurance of many motorbike insurances, a daily benefit of generally CHF 25.00 to 50.00 per day can be insured. This is paid out if the insured person is temporarily unable to work due to a vehicle accident. These daily benefits are generally paid additionally to possible daily benefits from the compulsory accident insurance which are e.g. covered by the employer.
