My insurance contract ens on 31.12.2010. Can I change to another company ? Or do I have to have given three months notice?

Hello.Most often, you must hand in your notice 3 months in advance. This does not apply to termination due to raised premiums. In such cases, your insurer must receive a registered letter stating your termination by the last day of the insurance year. You can switch insurers in the following cases: contract expiry,change of premium (increase, partially for reductions), change of owner, change of vehicle or a claim. Kind regards comparis.ch
